Job Title:     Gender Support Intern (Fresh Graduate Jobs)

Raising Gabdho Foundation (RGF) is a social enterprise which works to boost livelihoods of vulnerable households using sustainable approaches and benchmarking good practices.

 

Job Summary:  The gender support intern is a position that typically involves assisting with research, analysis, and program development related to gender equality and women’s empowerment.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Providing technical support and guidance on gender mainstreaming in development programs and policies
  • Building capacity of individuals, organizations and institutions to integrate a gender perspective in their work
  • Raising awareness on the impact of gender-based discrimination and violence
  • Facilitating the development and implementation of gender-sensitive projects and initiatives
  • Monitoring and evaluating the impact of interventions on gender equality and women’s empowerment
  • Providing training and education on gender issues and perspectives.
  • Conducting literature reviews and research on gender-related topics
  • Performing administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold an undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant field such as gender studies.
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Knowledge of gender-related issues and current events
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
