Job Summary: The communications intern is a temporary position for a student or recent graduate who is interested in gaining experience in the field of communications?
A communications intern will be working under the direction of a team leader
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of various media production projects
- Helping to operate and maintain production equipment such as cameras, audio equipment, and lighting
- Assisting with the editing and post-production of media such as video, audio, and photographs
- Helping to develop and implement creative concepts for media production projects
- Assisting with research and development of new production techniques and technologies
- Assist with the coordination and scheduling of production shoots

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Enrollment in a degree program related to communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing.
- Strong writing, editing and research skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with social media platforms and content management systems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with graphic design and video editing software is a plus.
- Knowledge of media relations and PR strategies.
- Familiarity with the industry and market is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
