Job Summary: The agriculture intern is a temporary position for a student or recent graduate who is trained and qualified in the field of agriculture and related areas. This may include a variety of specialties such as agronomy, horticulture, animal science, food science, and agricultural economics, among others.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting agricultural research and data collection.
- Assisting with soil management, including fertilization and irrigation.
- Assisting with equipment maintenance and operation.
- Assisting with farm management tasks, such as budgeting and record keeping.
- Providing administrative support to the agricultural team.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the agricultural team.
- Building a professional networking and learning the best practices in the field.
- Continuously seeking feedback and looking for ways to improve and grow as a professional

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Enrollment in a degree program related to agriculture, agronomy, animal science, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong skills in data analysis and relevant software is a plus.
- Knowledge of farm management techniques is a plus.
- Experience in using agricultural equipment and machinery is a plus.
