Job Title:  Treasury Sales Officer

Finance Trust Bank (FTB) was licensed as a Tier 1 Commercial Bank on 11th November, 2013, taking over the financial services business of Uganda Finance Trust Limited (MDI). Today, Finance Trust Bank is a fully-fledged commercial bank serving a clientele of over 500,000 depositors and over 37,000 borrowers, through a network of 34 branches countrywide. The bank offers a variety of Products and services including; Savings, Current accounts, Loans, Money transfer services and Bills payments to its target market which comprises of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs, salary earners and youth.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage foreign exchange sales operations and keep track record of foreign exchange transactions – set up calling plans across existing and potential clients
  • Sell the bank`s treasury products and facilitate negotiations with customers
  • Implement sales plans in order to attract more customers. These include engaging in business networking, working with branches to identify & engage existing and potential clients on an on-going basis.
  • Work with the Treasury dealer to manage the foreign exchange trading functions in order to meet the bank`s goals financially.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field from a recognized University.
  • Any professional qualification will be an added advantage
  • Working experience of one year as a Banking Officer.
  • Good working knowledge of computer
  • Excellent networking skills and a sound knowledge of the banking environment.
  • Demonstrates ability to gather, analyze and internalize information in order to offer solutions to customer needs.
  • Demonstrates business acumen- ability to make good judgments and quick decisions in order to maximize forex revenues.
  • Demonstrate sales experience
  • Strong analytical skills
