Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overall ensure products meet quality, food-safety and efficiency standards and that these requirements are understood and implemented
- Support the development of quality and food-safety goals and targets and devise product specifications
- Develop and maintain a system of quality and food-safety control documentation, processes, procedures and capabilities and continuously review them to ensure that manufacturing production lines run efficiently and that they generate a consistently suitable output that meets standards, and make recommendations for improvements as appropriate
- Liaise with production to ensure quality and food-safety requirements are supported through all stages and when necessary, reject defective products
- Lead in developing and maintaining a fool-proof system for traceability and product testing, keep accurate documentation, perform statistical analysis and present relevant reports to management
- Develop, implement and maintain the HACCP plans
- Lead the food-safety teams
- Ensure all QC resources and equipment are safely operated, maintained, stored and organized
- Conduct internal quality and food-safety trainings
- Champion health & safety at workplace, including maintaining a pest management system
- Maintain the quality and credibility of exports, including conducting farmer trainings on good agricultural practices and educate them on the company’s quality expectations while monitoring its compliance
- Develop key documentation and SOP’s for the export certification systems

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Quality Control Manager should hold a Bachelor of Science Technology- Chemistry, Food Science or Agriculture
- At least three years of experience in food production
