Reports to: Senior Legal Officer
Key Duties and Responsibilities: The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Legal Officer for performing the following duties:-
- Receiving complaints and giving legal advice/referrals;
- Interviewing complainants and witnesses;
- Conducting expeditious investigations and rendering investigative reports;
- Preparing Legal Memoranda;
- Assisting with the preliminary assessment of complaints;
- Maintaining an information template on complaints/advice given through the call centre and other modes of complaints receipt;
- Following up on referrals made to stakeholders;
- Maintaining and updating the complaints database;
- Preparing regular reports on complaints received through the various modes available;
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Law plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from a recognized University/Institution.

- Proven ability to adapt to multi-cultural settings;
- Effective organizational and planning skills; time management skills; technical skills;
- Good report writing skills;
- Good negotiation skills;
