Job Summary:  The Projects Support Officer will support the project office to ensure that projects are delivered in time, get involved in the pre-project activities such as reviewing project documentation and review business processes to ensure lean and efficient customer journeys.

 

The role holder will also ensure that the Project management office maintains proper documentation of all as per the guidelines.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative services and support to Project Manager in form of filing and distribution of documents, etc.
  • Help in project planning, reporting and risk management.
  • Prepare minutes for the Project Steering, Process Performance Committees, Benefits realization meetings
  • Prepare meetings and minutes for all the project and sub committees and follow up on actions to ensure all parties deliver on the agreed deliverables (Vendors and Internal stakeholders).
  • Maintain centralized folder of all documentation on the project related documents for Audit and BOU preparation.
  • Document process flows for the project office and support in documentation of process flows for the different departments.
  • Undertake research and competitor benchmark and projects development and review.
  • Follow up on sign off of approved projects papers and other documentation.
  • Communicating with people all across the organization.
  • Support in coordination of project activities.
  • Coach the different departmental process champions in process mapping.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree – IT, Statistics, Commerce, Quantitative Economics and Arts in Economics.
