Job Summary: The Accounts Officer will provide support to the cashiering and accounting unit in the Cafeteria through analyzing, reconciling, inspecting and verifying accounts and any other financial information
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Record all cafeteria financial transactions
- Keeping track of the inventory & cash flow
- Generate routine consumption needs and share same with procurement
- Verify store issuances and sales made
- Ensure that all revenues due are collected from credit sales
- Control usage of consumables
- Participate in the monthly stock take exercise and generate a report for review
- Ensure the Financial Information System is functional and fully utilized
- Generate monthly income statements on sales, supplies, and production
- Prepare staff meal budgets monthly
- Monitor expenditure & profits and provide reports
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- At least two years of experience in the field
- Proven experience as an Accounts Officer in a FMCG Industry or Hotel or Institutional Catering environment
- Knowledge and competency in accounting principles.
- Proficiency in management systems.
- Supervisory & Administration skills.
- Proficiency in Computer use (Microsoft Excel) and ERPs
- Self-motivated and result orientated
