Job Summary: Avolio Industries Limited is seeking for a hard working Machine Operator who is dexterous and able to work efficiently with different machines. As our workforce grows, we need an experienced & diligent Machine Operator to be at the helm!
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications.
- Produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
- Maintain logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
- Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment
- Communicate with management regarding any issues or concerns related to job duties or plant operations.
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
- Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations at all times while performing job duties
- Follow instructions from supervisors/managers during shift changes and emergencies.
- Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the High Authority of the company.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Professional
- The ideal applicant must be a fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree of science in Industrial Engineering
- Know how to increase output and fix errors.
- Very good numeracy skills.
- Can work well within a team environment where people work in interlocking roles.
- Ability to quickly read engineering drawings.
- Flexibility to move between departments.
- Using measuring equipment for data collection and machine setting.
- Understanding the functions and basic mechanical workings of assigned machines under limited supervision.
- Ability to work with light to medium machinery.
- Excellent mechanical ability
- Carrying out quality audit checks.
- Ability to operate more than one machine as and when required.
- Good knowledge of laser machine processes and safe practice.
Personal
- Using own initiative to find solutions when things are not going right.
- Physically fit and able to remain standing for long periods of time.
- Motivated with a “can do” attitude.
- Reasonable physical fitness, for the purposes of manually loading the machines.
