About US:

Mildmay Uganda is an indigenous Christian NGO that offers General and HIV/AIDS medical services also providing technical support for Ministry of Health Systems to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services.

 

Job Summary:  The position holder will provide oversight for implementation of the facility-based arm of the community strategy to ensure that effective, functional linkages are established and maintained between the facility and community structures for accelerated epidemic control. S/he will also provide oversight for Differentiated Service Delivery Model, Key Population programming and coordination of Key Population Civil Society Organizations and gender mainstreaming.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies/Social Sciences/Community Psychology/ or other related field plus 3 years experience in Community/Public Health Programmes.
  • The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing Community based health programs;
  • Demonstrable experience in implementing MOH and PEPFAR Community Health Frameworks;
  • Previous experience with Participatory Community Approaches,
  • Proven ability to influence behavioral change
  • Strong partnership and collaborative skills.
