Uganda Association of women Lawyers (FIDA-Uganda) is a membership-based feminist organization established in 1974 to promote and defend human rights with emphasis on women and children as beneficiaries across the country. FIDA-Uganda’s mission is to advance gender equality through the promotion of women’s and children’s rights and its priority areas include; to promote justice frameworks that are gender responsive; to enhance social justice economic empowerment and inclusion for women; to promote gender justice through strategic partnerships and to enhance the capacity of FIDA-Uganda as a center for legal excellence for women lawyers. It also advocates for policies and practices at the national, regional, and international levels that more effectively protect the rights of women. FIDA-Uganda operates nationwide with a Secretariat in Kampala and other satellite districts across the country.
Job Summary: The Transport Assistant /Driver is responsible for ensuring provision reliable and secure driving services to the organization including provision of timely and safe driving services of staff and stakeholders following traffic regulations; ensure proper motor vehicle maintenance including repairs and accurate records, among others.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold an O’ Level Certificate & Mechanical certificate.
- At least three years of Driving Experience.
- Certificates/Licenses: Class A, B, C and D Driver’s License.
- Certificate in defensive driving added
- Basic administration skills will be an added advantage.
