On behalf of our client TOTAL ENERGIES, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced General Services Coordinator – Temporary Staff (Maternity Cover) to work in Kampala.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The job holder is responsible for:
- Coordinate lease contractual agreements and conditions therein.
- Monitor the maintenance of Company’s office facilities and warehouse/storage space and associated equipment.
- (air-conditioning, stabilizers, fire detection system, suppression and fighting equipment & UPS)
- Organize audits on company facilities and residences in compliance to HSE policies and procedures.
- Monitor the maintenance of expatriates’ houses, in liaison with the maintenance service team.
- Write work-scopes and provide technical analysis for call for tenders related to his scope of activities.
- Analyze costs and expenditure for housing and office general services works and services to ensure value for money and
- Compliance with budget estimates.
- Assist in the write-up of company procedures and policies related activities within his scope of work.
- Organize and conduct inventory of office and housing assets on a regular basis and upon arrival/departure of an expatriate Staff.
- Provide accurate information on company leased offices’ & residences for data collection.
- Arrange the disposal of obsolete and unwanted company inventory as per the Company guidelines.
- Carry out any other duties that may be assigned to him/her by the hierarchy

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a university degree in construction management, Quantity Surveyor, Building sciences, Facility Management, or Engineering
- English (written & spoken)
- Confidentiality, strong interpersonal skills are required
- Good organization skills and aptitude to work under stress
- Good HSE knowledge and awareness
- Excellent interpersonal skills (including team management), written and oral communication skills
