Platinum Credit (U) Ltd has introduced a new product available to formally employed persons working in the Private Sector. Platinum Credit (U) Ltd is a subsidiary of Platcorp Holdings Ltd.
Job Summary: The Product Coordinator – Motor Import Finance Product will ensure importation of motor vehicles is in line with company and custom’s rules and regulations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review KYC Documents for customers to facilitate loan processing.
- Review Car Specifications in line with company policies.
- Negotiate on best prices for purchase of Motor Vehicles with export companies in various countries.
- Appraise loans submitted by Loans Officers
- Follow up on shipment for Motor Vehicles until they reach the Port of Kenya.
- Forward shipment documents to the Logistics Company to facilitate clearance of Motor Vehicles.
- Follow up on payment of taxes as advised by the Logistics Company and secure number plates from Uganda Revenue Authority.
- Prepare final Motor Vehicle release letters.
- Share related reports with management.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a similar position.
- Knowledgeable about URA (Uganda Revenue Authority) Operations
- In-depth knowledge about Motor Vehicle importation
Competencies:
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer skills particularly Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and E-mail
- Leadership and supervisory skills
