Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive light vehicles to specified destinations,
- Transport staff to specified and approved destinations. Deliver and collect mails, messages and other items as and when instructed
- Monitor vehicle condition & report any mechanical faults to the Fleet Maintenance Officer
- Monitor & maintain vehicle hygiene as per approved cleaning schedule.
- Perform regular checks on the vehicles following guidelines issued by the Fleet Maintenance Engineer.
- Maintain security of the vehicle assigned
- Perform general clerical duties as assigned
- Any other duties assigned by the Transport Supervisor.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Uganda Certificate of Education,
- Valid driving permit with the relevant class
- Two years of experience in driving.
- Ability to work independently in carrying out assignments to completion.
- Effective Verbal and written communication.
- Customer service orientation skills.
- Considerable ability to adhere to prescribed routines and practices; and compose effective and accurate correspondence.
- Dealing with non-routine matters, such as special projects, with minimum specific instructions.
- Decision making skills is required.
