Job Title: Collections Assistant (Fresher Jobs)

About US:
Unifi is a fast-growing financial technology company currently operating in Zambia, Tanzania and South Africa and most recently Uganda. Unifi Uganda delivers personal lending products from branch-based channels, utilising internally generated software and lending products backed by internal IT and data analytics teams.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Collections
- Review and submit system generated direct debit files to ensure that collections targets are met
- Work closely with the internal operations teams as well as external stakeholders to optimise the collections process
- Actively engage in business development and relationship building
Other
- Assist the accounting team to manage their bookkeeping duties
- Contribute to making Unifi a fun place to work!

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Work experience in a similar role. A degree is preferred but not required
- The ideal candidate will be organised and astute and will be able to work with accounting systems to ensure that collections are done in a timely and efficient manner. Further, the ideal candidate would be an outgoing people’s person that is able to manage and build relationships with key stakeholders.
