Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Research Associate to join our team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: As a senior research associate, you will be responsible for;
- Conducting in-depth research on a wide range of topics, analysing data, conducting literature reviews, writing reports, presenting findings to key stakeholders including contributing to academic writing processes aimed at journal publications.
- Business development through contributing to proposals and client outreach initiatives
- Providing mentorship, supervision and guidance to junior team members

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative social science research intensive field (Economics, Statistics, Development Studies, etc)
- Five years of experience in a research-focused role
- Demonstrable analytical skills with ability to interpret and synthesize results
- Proficiency in statistical software such as Stata and R
- Proficiency in design of CAPI-based data collection platform (e.g. SurveyCTO, ODK, Survey Solutions)
- Experience in coordinating field research teams
- Excellent technical writing skills and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise mariner
- Experience coordinating or working as part of a distributed research team
- Demonstrable leadership and innovation skills
