Job Title: Receptionist (Fresher Hotel Jobs)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Welcoming guests and checking their details against their bookings
- Allocating guests their rooms and providing keys
- Answering phones from prospective customers and guests, taking messages and delivering them
- Completing administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying
- Responding to requests for help and information
- Providing concierge services, such as booking theatre tickets. arranging travel and providing information about local amenities and attractions
- Preparing room bills and ensuring prompt payments
- Checking guests out, taking payments and returning deposits
- Listen to any complaints that Guests have and address them appropriately.
- Make suggestions based on their preferences i.e., Up-sell when appropriate
- Cooperate and communicate with other departments like housekeeping
- Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Diploma in catering and hotel management or its equivalent
- Two years of experience working in a hotel receptionist or guest services role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other Hotel programs like Opera
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Customer-oriented
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
