Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support in the establishment of a conducive learning environment for learners.
- Intuitively prepare schemes of work and lesson plans in line with approved curriculum on termly, weekly and daily basis.
- Conduct lessons and remedial work according to the set timetable.
- Actively conduct continuous learning assessment and evaluation of learners and take responsibility for guiding and ensuring progress of the assigned group of learners.
- Organize the classrooms and related resources in readiness for learning to support a healthy learning environment for the learners.
- Keep and maintain class records/inventory (Registers, records of work, progress reports and equipment).
- Ensure safety of learners in school during class and co-curricular activities.
- Work with the parents and other stakeholders to achieve maximum involvement in the holistic development of the learners.
- Develop and foster appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children, according to age, ability and aptitude
- Guide and counsel learners.
- Perform any other duty as assigned by the leadership and management from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should possess a minimum of Grade III Teacher’ Certificate from a recognized institution/ University.
- Possession of a Diploma in Primary Education is an added advantage.
- Must be duly registered with the Ministry of Education, Sports, Science and Technology.
- Letter of recommendation detailing good conduct (no criminal activity including protection violation) from former employer or LC authority.
- Should be able to work in a multicultural environment.
- Skills in classroom delivery.
- God fearing, trustworthy and a person of integrity.
- Good moral standing with exemplary character.
- Ability to use ICT to support the learning process.
- Logical thinker and innovative with problem solving skills.
- Fluency in spoken/written English language.
- Highly customer centered in service delivery.
