Job Title:    Investment Analyst (No Experience Job Opportunities)

Reports to: Senior Investment Analyst

Kiira Motors Corporation or KMC is a State Enterprise in Uganda established to champion the Development of the Domestic Automotive Value Chain for job and wealth creation.

 

Job Summary: The Investment Analyst is responsible for informing and implementing investment plans and avenues to ensure KMC’s leadership in the development, making and sale of Sustainable Mobility Solutions (Motor Vehicles, Parts, Systems & Services) in Africa. The Investment Analyst will support the KMC’s investment evaluation process and assessment of potential new investment opportunities

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial due diligence and analysis on prospective projects and recommend an investment or partnership decision;
  • Evaluate prospective projects using an investment criteria and recommend next steps;
  • Create financial models for investment projects;
  • Prepare Investor Prospectus for potential investors;
  • Provide updates on financial markets activities in order to position KMC in the local and regional market;
  • Examine and assess economic and market trends, revenue projections, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to inform KMC’s investment strategies and plans;
  • Make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities and funding for KMC;
  • Draft investment cases and business plans to support the investment process;
  • Prepare Monthly Work Plans and Performance Reports necessary for executing the above duties and responsibilities; and
  • Any other duties assigned by the Senior Investment Analyst.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Related Field from a recognized Institution.;
  • This is an entry level Position therefore no Experience is required. However, demonstrated Knowledge and Skill in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science are required.
