Job Title: Logistics and Storage Department Manager

About US:
COOEC-CPECC Joint Venture consisting of COOEC INTERNATIONAL CO., LIMITED, and CHINA PETROLEUM ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION (CPECC) UGANDA LIMITED is a CNOOC Uganda Ltd Contractor for Kingfisher Oil Field Development Package-3, and the scope of work includes four well pads production facilities, central processing plant (CPF), Infield Flow Lines, water Intake pump stations, temporary camp, etc.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage mobilization of material to be used on the project both from National and abroad;
- Verify all material to ensure they meet the clients’ specific and CCJV guideline;
- Managing clearance, exemption and inland transportation;
- Managing and Coordination with Customs clearance & Transportation Suppliers;
- Managing Logistics Suppliers;
- Managing Material storage and Material management on Site in line with CCJV guidelines;
- Coordination with Customs, PAU, and other government department of Uganda;
- Coordination with COMPANY;
- Coordination with Departments;
- Other appropriate works which may be assigned by COOEC and CPECC Joint Venture.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor in Engineering/logistics or Material management;
- Fifteen years of experience in Logistics and Storage, 8 years of experience overseas; more than 5 project execution experience and EPC project experience is a must.
- Must have experience working in the oil and gas sector;
- Knowledgeable around International Trade;
- Knowledgeable around International Logistics;
- Knowledgeable around International Transportation;
- Knowledgeable around International Procurement;
- Knowledgeable around Customs Declaration Customs Transit Customs Clearance and Exemption
- Knowledgeable around Material management;
- Knowledgeable around Material Storage for Oil Field Project.
