Job Summary:  We are looking for enthusiastic and resourceful graduate trainees who are passionate about technology to join our energetic team to kick start their career.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Manning the help desk and ensuring that after-sale support is offered around-the-clock to clients.
• Ensuring that all support calls are answered, responded to and acted upon.
• Making use of the availed tools to carry out support duties i.e logging tickets, updating and/or escalating and /or closing tickets.
• Attending to all manner of queries and problems from clients, through all available communication channels.
• Working out the exact nature of clients’ problems and prescribing the correct solution or escalating them for assistance to ensure continuous access to the service.
• Assisting prospective clients by answering questions offering information about Echo Uganda and its services so as to get new clients and increase the client base.
• Inputting and updating all Customer information on a daily basis and preparing weekly summary reports.
• Writing reports on the status of the various projects and activities.
• Testing new products, hardware and software.
• To document network setup and ongoing changes.
• Provide support to network engineers and system administrator in looking for solutions to technical problems and any other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a BS/BE in Computer Science/Computer Engineering & Information Systems and Technology
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
• Resilience and a determination to succeed.
• Independent thinkers with growth mindset.
• Must be passionate, self-motivated, and able to learn quickly.
