Job Title: Public Relations Officer

About US:
Uganda Hotel and Tourism Training Institute is a government owned tertiary Institution established by an Act of parliament (UHTTI Act 2015). Mandated to provide knowledge and skills through; Education, Training and research in areas of Hospitality and Tourism management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage alumni relations.
- Plan major events and press releases.
- Develop and manage communications budget and strategies
- Oversee the writing and editing of events scripts and speeches
- Develop cooperative relationships with the Institute’s stakeholders.
- Generating communications to maintain a positive image for the Institute.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold an Honors Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication or Journalism or International Relations from a recognized University or relevant Institution.
- At least three years of experience in public relations field from a reputable organization.
