Job Title:   Procurement Officer

Job Summary: The Procurement Officer will primarily determine in advance sourcing requirements and negotiate best value for money agreements. To ensure compliance to the Groups procurement policy.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Create awareness of the procurement processes and drive best practices within the business.
  • Manage individual suppliers on a commercial basis e.g. service level agreements.
  • Negotiate national procurement deals.
  • Ensure savings are credible and liaise with budget holders to ensure rigorous and effective savings tracking.
  • Specialized procurement for all sites.
  • Assist in RFQ preparation and coordinate tender evaluation process.
  • Filling and document control.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a relevant degree/ diploma.
  • Three to five years of related procurement experience.
