Job Summary: The Procurement Officer will primarily determine in advance sourcing requirements and negotiate best value for money agreements. To ensure compliance to the Groups procurement policy.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create awareness of the procurement processes and drive best practices within the business.
- Manage individual suppliers on a commercial basis e.g. service level agreements.
- Negotiate national procurement deals.
- Ensure savings are credible and liaise with budget holders to ensure rigorous and effective savings tracking.
- Specialized procurement for all sites.
- Assist in RFQ preparation and coordinate tender evaluation process.
- Filling and document control.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a relevant degree/ diploma.
- Three to five years of related procurement experience.
