Job Summary: The Head of Hospital Information Unit will provide overall leadership to develop and implement an M&E strategy tailored to grow the hospital as well as Coordinate and Maintain a robust and functional Strategic Information Unit (SIU) (Monitoring & Evaluation, Data Management Systems, Medical records, Hospital ICT, Customer Care and QMS officers) for the Mildmay Uganda Hospital (MUgH). These technology-driven monitoring, and reporting systems shall provide timely and high-quality information for strategic and operational planning, results accountability, documentation and learning for the hospital.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in either Statistics, Computer Science or Quantitative Economics with at least three years of experience in M&E and Data Management, 2 of which must have been leading teams OR Master’s degree/ postgraduate qualification in M&E, with 2-3 years’ experience at leading teams’ level.
- The successful candidate should have demonstrable knowledge of M&E, Research, Data Management, Data Analysis, QA, Medical Records and Advanced Computer skills.
- All applicants must have a Non-judgmental approach to human relations; be in sympathy with Mildmay Uganda’s Christian values; possess good communication and interpersonal skills; and must be able to maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues.
