Job Summary:  The Customer Sales and Service Officer position is strategically positioned to deliver outstanding customer experience ensuring reliable and outstanding service on a daily basis and availability of Smart systems everywhere, anytime in order to exceed Smart stakeholders’ expectations and increase profitability.

 

The Customer Sales and Service Officer will be directly engaging different Smart service providers, solutions-oriented, enhance administrative processes using technology and smart solutions and ensuring a wow customer experience and Smart business goals.

 

The ideal candidate is a professional with solution-oriented and problem-solving skills. As a Customer Sales and Service Officer, you should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To carry out successful installation of the Smart system at newly appointed service providers in the allocated regions in line with timelines agreed with customers.
  • To sell, promote and implement provided integrated Smart Hospital Information Management System.
  • To carry out successful upgrade and installation of the new versions of the Smart system at existing service providers in the allocated regions in line with timelines agreed with customers.
  • To carry out initial and refresher training of system users at the service providers on effective system use and basic troubleshooting procedures.
  • To collect and timely report on feedback regarding Smart system acceptance, use, improvements and any challenges with Smart solutions at the installed sites.
  • To share a service provider management Monthly analysis report.
  • Introduce the Smart solutions to the newly appointed service providers and regularly show the value of the solutions to the existing service providers
  • To handle customer inquiries in line with the agreed service level standards and Smart brand values.
  • To monitor and facilitate timely delivery of data from providers to Smart servers targeted at enhancing customer processes.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of two years of ICT-related field.
  • Creativity and innovation for new idea generation to facilitate process optimization is key.
  • Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for assigned tasks.
  • Working Knowledge on the Data protection law and Privacy.
  • Must be a Ugandan citizen.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and highly organized, with strong time management and planning skills.
  • Creativity and innovation for new idea generation to facilitate process optimization is key.
  • Quick learner with demonstrated product knowledge and professionalism.
  • Microsoft conversant and good with reporting and analyzing of data.
  • Empathy; offer respect for customers’ concerns.
  • Flexible, should be able to travel across the country and relocate to the assigned region.
  • Multi-tasking is very crucial.
  • Patience; this is the difference between a good call center agent and a great one.
  • Positive attitude; maintain the same amount of enthusiasm and positivity.
  • Self-starter with possession of self-management and self-drive to complete tasks and engage customers.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, and heavy workloads and remain calm under pressure with a high degree of individual responsibility, all of which are implicit with the position.
