About US:

Mildmay Uganda is an indigenous Christian NGO that offers General and HIV/AIDS medical services also providing technical support for Ministry of Health Systems to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services.

 

Job Summary:  The Economic Strengthening Coordinator will provide technical and programmatic leadership in project strategy and implementation of the Economic strengthening interventions that result in accelerated HIV epidemic control in the supported regions and projects; and support sustainable growth of the MUg brand as a leading technical assistance entity in line with the organisational vision and mission.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s and Masters’ degree in the relevant field, must be registered with the relevant professional body/council and must have a valid practicing license.
  • He/she must have a minimum of 2 years of progressively increasing responsibility in managing technical assistance programs;
  • Five years of experience in implementation Economic Strengthening projects with demonstrable subject matter expertise in the Economic Strengthening projects.
  • He/she must also have strong leadership, analytical and organizational skills, dynamic systems thinking, high taste for innovation, and continuous quality improvement.
  • All applicants must have a Non-judgmental approach to human relations; be in sympathy with Mildmay Uganda’s Christian values;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and must be able to maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Customer focus is paramount.
