Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing the execution of enterprise 4IR technologies and data science frameworks consistent with the organization’s goals. In addition, developing and implementing data science models to solve high-impact business use cases and creating data-driven solutions to improve efficiency and deliver value to the members.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing detailed prescriptive and predictive analysis including advanced mathematical modelling, artificial intelligence and machine learning modelling, monitoring business issues and impact on customers.
- Lead the team to identify build and implement scalable data-driven models to high-impact business use cases.
- Responsible for communicating analytics model behaviour/results to business
- AI / ML Integration within Business processes to create new experiences and/or reimagine old processes.
- Responsible for carrying out technical risk analysis and reliability assessments
- Apply a strong understanding of data science techniques and libraries to business problems.
- Build department-wide data science frameworks and capabilities through brokering access to data sources and providing upskilling opportunities.
- Foster cross-functional team collaboration to acquire holistic input/domain knowledge required to build high-impact data science models in the context of the specific use cases.
- Facilitate desired productivity and quality performance from team and stakeholders, based on defined KPIs as set by management teams across the department.
- Provide oversight of data science teams involved in agile scrum teams
- Provide leadership and coaching to the team to enhance high performance
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Software Engineering or Computer Science, or any related field
- Professional qualifications in, Data Science, Data Engineering, Robotics, Big Data or Data Analytics
- At least seven years of working experience in Robotics, Data Science and Analytics, in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the financial industry.
