Job Summary:  The Logistics Administrator will ensure the efficient management and control of the administrative functions of the Maintenance department.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and logging calls related to breakdowns and the notifications and follow-ups thereafter to the relevant service providers.
  • Control of all the company-owned LDV’s.
  • Liaison with maintenance suppliers.
  • Compilation of all data and monthly reports
  • Take ownership of the department’s information system.
  • Ensure that internal customers are given a service level that they expect.
  • Schedule all COF’s.
  • Monitoring and applying for all licensing in accordance with all COF requirements.
  • Planning and booking of services with outsourced and in-house service providers for all fleets.
  • Daily capturing of vehicle hours and kilometres and submitting reports to relevant department heads.
  • Weekly capturing of labour hours and recording absenteeism and employee punctuality.
  • Monitoring of all maintenance costs and tyre scrapping.
  • Responsible for generating purchase requisitions of all service providers and spares.
  • Checking month-end expense variances and cost allocations
  • Providing administrative support to the Regional Maintenance manager




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold an A’ Level Certificate.
  • Five years of experience as an administrator in a similar environment.
