Job Title: IT Technician
Organisation: Graphic Systems Uganda
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Reports to: General Manager, Finance & Accounts Manager
Remuneration: Up to 700,000 UGX per month GROSS

Graphic Systems Uganda is the largest printing & packaging company in Uganda. It supplies indoor and out-door print advertising collateral, commercial printing, cartons, labels and promotional items. In addition, the company manufactures corporate wear and garments.
Job Summary: The IT Technician will install, configure, upgrade, maintain and administer computer systems to support data processing, management and analysis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and troubleshoot LAN networks and telephones. Company Operations
- Maintain Service to Desktop Computers and laptops for end user support, manage incidents and problems.
- Monitor the companies dedicated data Links and liaise with the service provider to ensure uninterrupted services.
- Maintain and Support more than 3 Servers on the company’s Network.
- Technical specifications needed to facilitate procurement of ICT equipment & services.
- Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all ICT equipment and resources at the Data centre and remote sites.
- Trouble shoot computer hardware.
- Willing to work in a team, result oriented, high level of integrity, confidentiality and problem solving skills.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a degree in Information Technology or equivalent of it
- At least three to four years of experience in IT department
- Citizenship: Ugandan “Women are encouraged to apply”.
- Linguistic skills: Fluent in English (written & verbal)
- Age: At least 25 years old and above
