Job Title:   Assistant Analyst (Fresher Jobs)

Job Summary:  The Assistant Analyst will carry out sample analysis/testing in accordance with documented test methods and in compliance with objectives, client requirements, the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard and professional conduct.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring that the integrity of the sample and the reference Standards are retained during usage, this means handling samples in such a way that they are protected from loss, damage or deterioration
• Responsible for carrying out the analysis of samples as specified in the method.
• Ensure that the equipment has been verified before use and all the items to carry out the analysis are available
• Report all matters affecting production, the staff and quality of analytical results to the analyst
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors/management

 




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Grade 12 certificate with pass in science or chemistry or equivalent
• A minimum of two years of experience working in a similar or better environment
