Job Title:  Sales Support Representative (Several Fresher Job Vacancies)

Biyinzika Poultry International Limited (BPIL) is the leading integrated poultry company and a recognized household brand within Uganda. Established 30 years ago as Biyinzika, BPIL has grown from small beginnings to a company with over 9?5 employees stationed in over 9 production sites. BPIL produces and distributes quality day-old chicks and HACCP certified animal feed through over 40 branches within Uganda and the East African region. BPIL also produces chicken meat products under the Pearl Chicken brand retailed directly through our 30 Pearl chicken shops. Pearl also supplies leading wholesale, retail and food service customers with quality Ugandan National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) certified products.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide Technical support and training to existing customers in the area of operation.
  • Improve farmer’s management practices so that they are successful enough to survive and grow their business.
  • Identify any other sales opportunities that may exist in the marketplace for poultry products or other livestock products.
  • Stock Management

 




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Diploma in Veterinary Studies or Degree or Diploma in Animal Production and Animal Husbandry.
  • 2-3 years working experience in a similar role in a busy commercial environment.
  • Experience in extension work is an added advantage.
  • Hard working and persuasive, quick decision making and highly intelligent, good interpersonal skills,flair for sales, excellent communication skills, willingness to be based anywhere in the country and relocated at anytime. Background in poultry is an added advantage.
