FRESH CUTS is the leader in the meat processing industry in Uganda offering its products and services both domestic and export market all year round. The company operates under two core brands, “Fresh Cuts” and “Quality Cuts”. All pre-packed vacuum sealed meats carry the Fresh Cuts brand and are distributed throughout supermarkets, hotels and restaurants. Quality cuts is the butchery and deli retail meat chain, which also wholesales products for export as well as hotels and restaurants.

Job Summary:  We are looking for a competent Security Officer to undertake the surveillance of our premises and protection of our staff and visitors. He/she will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• To ensure general protection of property and products coming in and leaving the company
• Oversee dispatch activities & receiving of dry goods to ensure that the goods dispatched matches the order quantity, the goods received equals order quantity
• Perform security surveillances around the factory to ensure the premises Is secure at all times
• Oversee and direct movement and parking of visitors and suppliers within the factory.
• Ensure the guards deployed by the out sourced security company  perform their duties effectively and  correctly
• Report any misconduct and absenteeism of the out sourced guards.
• Report any incidences which occur instantly to the supervisor for corrective action

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken work language
• Minimum of 0’Level certificate.
• Demanding, fast-paced, high pressure, multitasking.
