Job Summary:  The Technical Support Officer is responsible for the proper installation and configuration of company hardware devices.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure Fleet management products on the database.
  • Follow the company’s standard operating policies and procedures including established escalation procedures
  • Ensure that company resources are well utilized like tools, phones, and laptops.
  • Responding to call-outs in a timely fashion.
  • Collect relevant technical details to effectively troubleshoot reported issues.
  • Perform complete, accurate, and timely entry of information into CRM tool for all incidents/support requests (e.g. gather and document required information from customers).
  • Prepare a quality checklist, Job cards, work reports, and other documentation that may be required in the department.
  • Customer liaison (attend to their queries)




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • At least a diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Its equivalent
  • One to two years of experience in a relevant field
  • Previous experience of mechanical Engineering
  • Expert knowledge in electrical circuit interpretation.
  • Ability to identify color cording.
  • Basics of instrumentation and control system.
  • Basics of Automotive Engineering.
  • Knowledge in Telecommunication systems
  • Wider knowledge in computer applications.
  • Expert knowledge in how operating systems and software works.
  • Logical thinking.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Interpersonal skills as you will regularly be in contact with colleagues and/or customers.
