Sinopec Service is engaged in the provision of all project phases service for various sectors, including oil & gas, power, buildings, roads and bridges etc. We are looking for Construction and Project support personnel.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Aligning, levelling, and anchoring machinery
- Attaching loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving with the use of hand and power tools
- Ensuring that rigging equipment is dismantled and properly stored after use
- Carrying out tests on rigging equipment occasionally to ensure safety and reliability
- Communicating with workers that are engaged in the process of hoisting and moving loads, to ensure the safety of workers and materials
- Ensuring that all work scope is completed safely
- Strictly adhering to safety regulations and precautions
- Overseeing the process of tearing down, cleaning, and storing of any rigging equipment or machinery used in moving.
- Any other relevant duties as may be allocated from time to time
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum UCE/UACE certificate
- At least four years of experience working as a rigger in a reputable Organization or Contractor involving in erection & commissioning of machines.
- Specialized training in rigging systems and practices.
- Physical fitness, commercial driving experience, spatial awareness, well-developed communication and teamwork skills,
- Ability to adhere to safety rules and precautions.
