In 1979, our first product was baked giving birth to Ntake bakery. Since then we have grown into a multi sector business comprising of a bakery, wheat mill and paper recycling plant. With household names like Kaswa baking flour, AAA tissue and our bread which has come to be simply known as Ntake, we have endeared ourselves to the hearts of many Ugandans.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all materials in the designated stores, packaging’s and spares.
- In Charge of Estates store inventory and oversees, the loadings and off loadings of the different items delivered and dispatched.
- Ensures that stock is not depleted below the reorder levels.
- Prepares requisitions for purchase of stock that are seemingly running low.
- Maintains record of receipts and issuance of items out of the store to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Maintains and updates the physical inventory quantity – stock cards on a daily basis.
- Maintains an inventory control system for the store to ensure goods received, stored and dispatched are properly recorded and accounted for on a daily basis.
- Ensures stores inventory is organized and stored in an orderly, accessible and safe manner.
- Direct and manage procedures for the handling and movement of items of stock in and out of the stores.
- Ensures timely and correct valuation of inventory
- Verify all transaction documents e.g. delivery notes confirmation.
- Supervise the offloading and arrangement of materials and consignment for easy identification and accessibility.
- Prepare daily reports of all activities in the store to management
- Undertake stock-taking and periodic stock confirmation in the store.
- Perform materials and sub materials physical count daily and periodically.
- Any other duties assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce /Business Administration, Procurement and Logistics on any other related field
- Two years of experience in Stores management.
