About US:
The Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) is the Leader of Government Business in Parliament and responsible for the coordination and implementation of Government Policies across Ministries, Departments and other Public Institutions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the development of the CRRF Secretariat Annual Work Plan
- Keep track of the implementation of deliverables in the agreed Annual Work Plan
- Support the Director CRRF Secretariat with the analysis of the budget burn rates and advise accordingly
- Propose areas of CRRF PPA amendment
- Support Accounts Division in OPM with records keeping and documentation
- Prepare the activity, quarterly, midyear and annual reports of Secretariat PPA for Director’s review
- Support CRRF Secretariat team in processing of funds as per PPA allocation, reporting and accountability for the funds
- Liaise with UNHCR Solutions and Programme Team as regularly as possible on half year and annul PPA verification exercises, annual Audit among others
- Effective operation and maintenance of the Secretariat internet and IT equipment
- Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Applicants should be Ugandans holding an honours Degree in Commerce or Business Administration with Accounts option from a recognised University.
- Three years working experience in Financial Management is a pre-requisite for this position.
- Applicants with professional Accounting Certificates and knowledge of using computer based accounting systems have an added advantage
- Age: 23 -45 Years
