Eskom Uganda Ltd (EUL) is the leading electricity generation company in Uganda. The company was incorporated on 22nd November 2002 and commenced operations on 1st April 2003. Eskom Uganda Limited (EUL) is a subsidiary company of Eskom Enterprises Proprietary) Limited – South Africa, the investment arm of Eskom Holdings Ltd; the leading electricity generation company in Africa. Eskom Uganda Limited Operates and maintains the Nalubaale and Kira power stations in Jinja under a 20 years concession. The power plants are owned by Uganda Electricity Generation Company Ltd. We provide reliable and sustainable hydro power for national development.

 

Job Summary: The objective of the Eskom Uganda Graduate in Training Programme is to expose the beneficiaries of the program to practice and on-the-job training in different fields of work. The successful young graduate will be exposed to the day-to-day business operations of EUL to acquire extensive training and be capacitated with knowledge and information to gain hands-on experience in the Finance Department.

 

The Trainee will receive training and exposure in roles and functions within the Finance department at Nalubaale and Kiira Power Stations.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration in Finance and Accounting, Bachelor of Commerce, Business Studies, and other related professional qualifications in Finance or Accounting.
