At Prestige Driving School we teach and train our learners how to become the safe drivers of tomorrow. With the backing of our competent staff, we aim at providing the highest level of driver training in Uganda, with the objective of equipping learners with defensive driving skills
Job Summary: The Logistician will take lead in running errands, supervision of support staff and attend to any operational issues as they arise in corporate department.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Boost sales and contribute to our long term business growth by contacting and developing relationships with potential clients/managers/drivers and administrators
- Handle complaints from clients and ensure excellent service delivery
- Uncover client’s unique needs and challenges
- Perform document checks as per for all ongoing clients (learners permits, driving permits)
- Monitoring transactions, investigating and reporting suspicious activity in all departments
- Ensure all reports are sent to clients after training
- Ensure that proper inventory of all components of vehicles are maintained and checked frequently. Ensure that the maintenance, oiling and servicing schedule of the vehicles is followed.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any business-related field
- Any relevant working experience
- A hands-on approachable person
- Are intellectually curious, creative in the way you go about tackling problems, and embrace failure as a means to spark innovation and growth.
- A strong communicator, both in writing and in-person, to the point of over communication
- Enjoy owning projects – you’re autonomous yet know when to escalate problems.
- Adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions and cope effectively with complexity and change.
- Can effectively prioritize for yourself and for large teams – you know how to triage problems to make the most impact on the business
- Be a hustler, not stopping after 20 obstacles a day
- A data-driven analytical mindset (great Excel skills)
Note that successful candidates will be required to travel to our head office in Bugolobi Kampala for induction and training at their own cost and thereafter deployed immediately.
