Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design social media insertions, monitor website performance & company presence on social media platforms such as: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube among others
- Design & develop creative videos, advertisements & social media posts in relation to company work
- Provide technical responses & feedback in regards to compliments, complaints & queries
- Develop & monitor implementation of the social media & digital strategy in line with company mission & vision
- Develop engaging, innovative & creative content for regularly scheduled posts which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages
- Oversee all company social media channels, campaigns, and team members to sustain an engaging audience experience and to increase audience satisfaction
- Research and analyze social media trends, including social media revenue and web visitor data, to improve social media presence and campaign efficacy
- Promote corporate messaging & increase brand awareness
- Work with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages
- Monitor and develop reports on competitor activity within social media spaces.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Degree in Information Technology, Communication, Journalism, Media Publishing, or Marketing
- At least two years of relevant work experience in social media management including planning & content management in a large corporate, similar setup
- Experience in Adobe creative design suite of products such as Illustrator, videography & photography, Photoshop, video editing, In Design among others
- Good exposure in using open-source content management systems such as WordPress
- Experience in using Search Engine Optimization & Search Engine Marketing techniques to run effective campaigns as well as optimize the company’s website, social media pages and other content efforts
- Understanding of Facebook Business Suite insights to drive business growth
- Experience in monitoring website performance, allied metrics using Google Analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong understanding of social media platforms
