The bank offers a variety of Products and services including; Savings, Current accounts, Loans, Money transfer services and Bills payments to its target market which comprises of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs, salary earners and youth.
Job Summary: The Brand and Marketing Supervisor will develop and execute comprehensive marketing, communication and public relations plans for the Bank in line with the Bank’s Objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement marketing plans for the Bank in line with the Bank’s Objectives.
- Distribute and monitor the distribution of the advertising & promotional items/ programs of the bank in line with the bank’s objectives.
- Monitor the design, update the Bank’s products and services on the website in liaison with the IT Department according to the Bank’s products, specifications Business plan & policies, and notify supervisor of any changes.
- Participate in sensitizing staff on new and existing products & services in line with the marketing program.
- Ensure brand protection in the media space and ensure a favorable rating of the bank in the media.
- Monitor regularly the media space including social media and other electronic and print media and ensure positive presence and value for money
- Proper management of stakeholders and partners
- Carry out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Communication field.
- Post graduate qualification majoring in marketing will be an added advantage
- Five years of experience in marketing and communication obtained in the financial sector. Three years working experience in Brand management
- Excellent self-presentation skills
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Leadership and management skills.
- Ability to develop the strategy and activity work plans for the unit.
- Have the ability to establish and maintain good relationships with key industry players.
- Bring assignments to a conclusion and within set deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of the Commercial Banking business environment.
- Good personal presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
- Possess self-drive and be a self-starter.
- Creative and adaptable to change.
- Ability to work independently as well as in team.
- Ability to conceptualize issues
- Flexibility and willingness to travel upcountry.
