About US:

Communication for Development Foundation Uganda (CDFU) is a non-governmental organization that implements Development Communication programs aimed at influencing positive behavior change for the social development of men, women and children in Uganda and the entire East African Region.

 

Communication for Development Foundation Uganda (CDFU) with support from The AIDS Support Organization (TASO) will implement malaria grant activities supported by The Global Fund in the Eastern Cluster for the period 2022-2023.

 

Job Summary:  The Technical Officer will provide SBC & Technical support for program activities including community mobilization; mentor and monitor stakeholders engagements at all levels down to the household level; ensure project activities are documented and reported.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Health, Social Sciences, Population or related field.
  • Three years of experience in implementing Social and Behaviour Change interventions.
  • Demonstrate knowledgeable practice of working with districts, non-governmental and community-based organizations as well as government departments.
  • Must have experience working at the community level to implement SBC interventions.
  • Have excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good presentation and writing skills.
  • Computer skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
