BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd promotes financial inclusion by extending financial services to unserved and underserved populations especially women and youth as well as people living in poverty in rural areas. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify key risks inherent in the bank’s business as well as emerging financial industry risks and suggest mitigation measures
- Prepare risk assessment assurance reports after each field visit ensuring that this follows an agreed report writing format
- Conduct risk awareness training within BUBL.
- Perform second level assurance on closure of external audit, central bank and Bl Audit team recommendations to avoid repeat findings. Follow up on implementation of agreed actions stated in the incident reports.
- Any other duty that may be assigned
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics or Banking
- At least two years of experience in Credit Banking, or Audit operations for a financial institution Certification in Risk Management, or Audit is an added advantage
- Investigation and detection skills
- Basic knowledge in the use of Microsoft office tools
- Oral and written communication skills
- Personal organization and planning skills
