Job Summary:  The Quality Control Supervisor will supervise and monitor quality control operations for the oil refinery and implement quality and safety standards as per national and international requirements.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To implement Quality Management and Food safety System based on current internationally recognized standards.
  • To ensure implementation of the company food safety and quality monitoring plan
  • Responsible for sampling and inspection of samples during processing
  • To ensure timely sampling and analysis of incoming raw material and in-process goods for effective as per established quality monitoring plan.
  • To ensure oil samples are collected, prepared, and dispatched for external lab testing
  • To prepare and submit daily quality monitoring reports for timely decision making
  • To ensure proper hygiene of staff and cleanness of the premises by engaging the sanitation team.
  • To ensure all the prerequisite programs for HACCP system are effectively implemented and improved continuously.
  • To ensure Good Manufacturing practices are implanted across all processing stages.
  • Carry out proper documentation and record keeping by ensuring that all the necessary records are completed and filed as required.
  • To participate in internal and external Quality Systems Audit activities




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science Technology (Chemistry), Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry.
  • At least two years of experience in Vegetable Oil Processing and Refining, Food Processing industry.
