Job Title: Security Officer (2 Job Opportunities)

Reports to: Head Security & Administration

Job Summary: To oversee security operations of the location.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Check of material movements (Incoming / Outgoing / Finished goods / Raw materials etc)
  • Forward first-hand information to Management of any security lapses
  • To forward MIS Reports as required by the management to assess the performance of the location and allow for faster decision-making / Communicate day to day operations to Surveillance Officer
  • Exercise watch on security operations at the location
  • Imparting training to the security service provider as per location requirement and post wise
  • Ensure no breach of security
  • Generate MIS Reports
  • Firefighting in case of any eventuality





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The candidate should have UACE Complete.
  • Diploma in any field will be an added advantage.
  • Should have an experience of minimum 2 to 3 years as Security Supervisor / Security Officer in a reputed security service agency handed material movements and visitors.
  • Experience of CCTV operations and Access Control System
  • Experience in basic Firefighting technics
  • Hands on basic First Aid knowledge
  • Knowledge of Gate controls, Material movements (Incoming / Outgoing / finished goods / raw material etc).
  • Knowledge of visitor’s management system and vendor movements.
  • Knowledge of CCTV, Access Control System operations & fighting system.
  • Should possess good English communication skills (written & spoken) and local language.
  • Should be below the age of 30 yrs.
  • Should be active and possess commanding quality.
  • Should not be a resident of local area.
  • Should be able to work in shifts and flexible to relocate within Uganda.
