Job Title: Utilities Specialist

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- General Management of the Utilities department.
- Direct Reporting to the Maintenance Manager over all issues from the section.
- To oversee and coordinate Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Health Practices (GHPs) within the department.
- Coordinate the team for teamwork in quick problem troubleshooting and rectification to minimize machine downtime and ensure Maximum Efficiency.
- Ensure Energy Conservation to minimize costs and maximize profits.
- Coordinate the team to ensure Documentation and all department Record keeping.
- Identify and Plan the necessary trainings required by the department Staff and liaison with the Maintenance Manager for Implementation
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least five years Hands-on experience in Utility machines like high-pressure comp. (40 bar), Chillers, Boilers.
- Leadership skills to lead a team of 50 or more technicians.
- Expert in troubleshooting and diagnose of problems in Utility
- Proven Leadership ability
- Good understanding of Manufacturing Way practices
- Good understanding of Asset Care principles
- Team Player Quick learner
- Good attitude
- Innovative
- Effective Planning ability
- Excellent computer skills
- Time management skills;
- Ability to conceptualize, research, digest, analyses and present material clearly and concisely;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and respect;

- Follow up ability and attention to detail;
- Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks and to work extra hours to meet deadlines;

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
