Job Summary: To effectively Manage National Child Sponsorship Data and Information system, Technical Capacity Building , Global and Local Sponsorship initiatives and reporting within the partnership policies , standards and guidelines in line with child wellbeing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Systems Technical Management and Support
- Manage Child Sponsorship technical and Business systems within the World Vision Set standards and guidelines.
- Provide Capacity for Area Programs, Clusters and National Office on how to use the sponsorship Horizon systems and hard wares (computers, mobile devices and other sponsorship gadgets).
- Monitor and support proper configuration and utilization of sponsorship systems and hardware’s and ensure timely and smooth transferring and remission of Child Sponsorship data.
- Check, test and confirm new sponsorship equipment’s compatibility and utilisation.
- Collaborate with the Nationaland cluster Sponsorship system users and follow up the timely assigning of correspondences – Annual Progressive Reports and Christmas Cards in tosystem.
- Identify challenges and Support to develop solutions to operational challenges.
- Conduct Horizon system mapping and provisioning of Sponsorship staff, communities and Area Programs.
Maintenance of Sponsorship Systems
- Monitor and report on Sponsorship Systems performance and Functionality and support reconciliation processes, system Upgrade to new versions and raise tickets for issues beyond National Office
- Carry out periodical systems hardware maintenance in cluster / AP offices through timely remote virtue support and field visits to resolve systems challenges
- Ensure Installations & reinstallation of Sponsorship systems and Horizon for all Area Programs is accomplished in accordance to operating procedures and partnership standards.
- Support and guide staff and volunteers to ensure security of child information, data backup and hardware.
- Carry out routine AP reviews/field support and maintenance of sponsorship computer databases and hardware and recommend appropriate actions for system
- Partner with ICT and GC to resolve technical service tickets raised by the clusters
Capacity Building
- Develop and Monitor National Sponsorship Capacity Building Plan and guidelines
- Conduct periodical Sponsorship Systems and Business Capacity building trainings and orientations to staff and volunteers
- Lead the staff training in Sponsorship Basic Training, SBO, Managing for Sponsorship Excellency and all Sponsorship Virtue training on E compass
- Develop / Update / adapt Sponsorship Systems Training materials and user guides on sponsorship systems and related business processes.
- Facilitate sponsorship systems and business trainings in collaboration with sponsorship coordinators and respective clusters.
- Coordinate Global and Support Office initiatives trainings and roll out across the Area Programs
System quality Assurance
- Facilitate Periodic RC Data reconciliation and Managing variance with Global Centre and Support Office support
- Conduct and support National and GC upgrades and data migrations trucking and reporting trends and informing management on decision making
- Monitor Sponsorship Horizon business processes at National office liaising with ADP’s /clusters such as printing out variance reports, Child Status Reports, Project reports, as well as tracking of images and videos
- Conduct Periodical Community and staff mapping and reconciliations / relocations for transitioning and transferred staff
- Lead Partnership Sponsorship Initiatives, Innovations and continuous improvement
- Facilitate Systems Pilots capacity building trainings on ongoing and new sponsorship system initiatives in collaboration with CESP Coordinators, GC and EARO.
- Take inventory of agreed and approved National, GC / EARO sponsorship initiatives and support their rollout
- Implement, Monitor, and report on new partnership systems initiatives and provide appropriate actions.
- Develop Issue Logs and inventories, Learnings and document best practices for sharing
- Provide technical support for field digital transformation, data and monitor its implementation providing necessarily actions.
Reporting and Data Management
- Generate, Consolidate and share National Horizon monthly, quarterly and annual Sponsorship Performance National Dashboard analysed per AP, Region and share with Management by 20th of every Month
- Generate and Share quarterly RC Wellbeing Reports with management and TP leads
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a University Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field from a recognized university. Other qualifications in computer networking, information security and database systems will be an added advantage.
- Certification and knowledge in data base management, A+, MCDST, ECDL, MCSE, CCNA are added advantage
- At least three years’ experience in Computer Systems and operations, Data base management
- Ability to identify training needs among staff
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
- Effective in written and verbal communication in English
- Able to Perform other duties as required
