Job Summary: The job holder will drive business growth through delivery of the day-to-day reporting and analytics for products and channels functions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop daily, monthly, quarterly and annual performance tracking dashboards/ scorecards to drive sales productivity.
- Develop analytics that will lead and guide management in the process of strategy development and execution.
- Support and deliver the sales strategy through identifying key opportunities that sales teams can pick up on by way of MI and analytics.
- Drive business growth through analyzing revenue collection efficiencies and cost minimization strategies to deliver a positive P&L position
- Identify and translate market opportunities into new product programs, or enhancements to existing products, in order to generate a profitable business.
- Establish and implement competitive pricing policies and tariff structure to maximize product profitability and shareholder value.
- Regularly monitor competitor banks in the market. Keep abreast of their new product offerings / service developments, assess the threat to our business and plan remedial action to maintain a competitive edge for all the Bank products.
- Deliver the daily reports (sales tracker, channel uptime tracker, teller productivity tracker, portfolio at risk report, business performance review,
- Deliver the monthly reports (CEO deck, newsletter, scorecards, branch profitability report, product profitability report, opportunity lists like top ups, inactive accounts, dormant accounts, digital list.
- Work closely with Distribution, Marketing & Product Managers to inform them of the product line strategy, positioning and implementation plans.
- Identify the key lines of cost and income, and the levers we have to control costs and income. Set the strategy according to these levers to achieve the specified Product Line performance targets.
- Review and feedback into customer satisfaction surveys, responding to customer product complaints.
- Liaise with HR and marketing functions to design and deliver appropriate training, and give input into sales strategies.
- Leadership skills in delivering value to the organizations.
- Institute effective performance management process.
- Ensure team development and personal growth.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in finance/Business related field/Economics statistics.
- At least five years of cognate experience in the area of MI and analytics development
- A detailed understanding of the MI software packages like cognos, SQL, power BI, Teradata, etc
- A detailed understanding of the MS office packages like excel, word, PowerPoint, access, Visio, etc
- A detailed understanding of product offerings in the wider financial services industry.
- Detailed knowledge of consumer buying behavior, marketing techniques and evolving trends.
- An understanding of customer segmentation theory and practice.
- Appreciate changes in technology and delivery channels and their impact on the financial services environment.
- Strong analytic, numerical and Communication skills
- Experienced in Project management.
- Good interpersonal and networking skills.
- Able to deal professionally, confidently and effectively with staff at all levels, internally and externally.
- Ability to work autonomously.
