Job Summary: The Reconciliation and Control Assistant will be responsible for ensuring we have daily visibility of the float committed to purchase goods, payments collected, returns and outstanding payments.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage customer accounts
- Resolve invoice payments
- Develop and monitor credit control system in collaboration with the sales and marketing team
- Track customer payments and assist in recovering money owed by a customer to the organization
- Reconcile customer payments to orders made and account for any differences
- Manage company debts
- Prepare statements and reports for the company accountant
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should hold CPA -K qualifications
- A minimum of two years of Accounting experience
- Procurement Experience
- Working in a fast-paced organization under pressure with minimal supervision
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Proactive
- Attention to detail
