Job Summary: As our field marketing officer in Uganda, you will report to the empowerment manager and work closely with the Promotion team. You will be responsible for building the strategy for developing marketing plans and executing campaigns to popularize the agricycle business model.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop marketing plans and execute campaigns to populism agricycle business model in Uganda.
- Conduct promotional events.
- Overseeing campaigns on social media platforms.
- Evaluating effectiveness of campaigns.
- Define and execute go to market strategies and company coordination for feature/product launches.
- Leverage marketing insights to better understand our customers and represent the user.
- Develop messaging, collateral, events and business strategies aimed at acquiring users and increasing our engagement with them.
- Any other reasonable responsibility given by supervising team members.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- MUST HAVE at least two years of experience in Marketing.
- A Higher Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communication or related course.
- Proven work experience in marketing.
- Highly creative with a hunger for innovation and are natural born problem solvers.
- Motivated by a passion to make the world a better place and love to take on challenges.
- Servant leaders who help to build the team and take on whatever role is necessary.
- Eager to learn and thrive in the fast-paced “fail fast, fail often” startup culture we embody.

- Working knowledge of computer applications, especially: gmail and google drive.
