Job Title:   Electrical Inspector & Auditor

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections
  • Test parts and raw material
  • Monitor and verify quality
  • Recommend improvements
  • Conform to specifications
  • Record observations
  • Audit quality control programs
  • Develop specs and procedures
  • Improve quality practices
  • Review quality documentation
  • Able to read and understand Drawings
  • Understand Project Completion System and able to use it
  • Able to issue and follow up Non-Conformance Reports
  • Able to review Supplier’s/Contractor’s ITPs and Quality Procedures
  • Able to review and interpret quality records and determine associated compliance with requirements (Performance data, test record, inspection record, MTR and other quality data and documents).





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant should be a graduate with bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Post graduate qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Electrical inspector with 5 years of experience in green construction projects.
  • International Code Council (ICC) Certification for Commercial Electrical Inspection
  • NFPA 70: National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)(NFPA)
  • Have knowledge of industrial codes (NEC, CEC, CSA, IEC, UL, NFPA, ISO 9001, API, and etc).
  • Professional with technical expertise as well as strong communications skills which will allow you to effectively and creditably communicate complex technical issues with our clients.
  • Field construction inspection and construction management experience.
  • Electrical or circuit card inspection experience
  • Knowledge of labelling requirements
  • Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures in quality control inspection field
  • Good analytical and creative problem solving skill
  • Ability to use tools and techniques to perform tests
  • Proactively and clearly communicate important, comprehensive, and specific information that others need
  • Work experience in African countries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Adaptable to cross-cultural work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good health and capable of working in a remote project area.
